Langt om længe fik vi brudt koden til laksene i en lavvandet flod med krystalklart vand
I dag skulle det være – der var skiftet tackler til floucarbon, tyndere line, mindre kroge og nye farver i grønne og violette nuancer
DET VIRKEDE
30 laks på land til 4 fiskere – det er meget ok under de svære betingelser. Morgenen startede ellers ikke alt for godt. Vi tog op på et stykke vi har fisket med stor succes i mange år. Vandstanden var så lav, at vi kunne vade over til modsatte bred og få hele stykket for os selv. Det var bare lidt udtur – vandstanden er det laveste jeg nogensinde har set – markant lavere og de huler og sten i vandet, der plejer at være stop og pause for de vandrende laks – ja de var der bare ikke rigtigt.
Slukørede trissede vi nedad og mødte en gammel bekendt vi har fisket sammen med lige præcis på det spot. Han og konen var helt enige i, at de heller aldrig havde set floden med så lidt vand.
Så vi blev enige om at gå ned til det spot der dog har givet hug og mistede fisk.
DET BLEV EN SUCCES
Her var tydeligvis masser af konge og pink laks og enkelte hundelaks (Chum). Det blev til forrygende timer med 30 landede fisk og heraf 6 kongelaks + de mange mistede kongelaks.
Humøret er ganske enkelt helt i top og euforien blev fejret med flæskesteg, øl, rom og et godt slaw kort. Godt trætte går vi til køjs og vi har tænkt os at gentage succesen i morgen.
